Be like the bluebird

I’ve heard that people in Seattle talk about weather more often than other places, so you’d think I’d exercise some restraint in this post but GOOD GOD IT’S FUCKING HOT IN SEATTLE RIGHT NOW.

From the KOMO weather forecast:

Today we will make weather history.  Whether you’ve lived here for 3 months, 3 years, 30 years, even 70 years… today will be the hottest day you’ve ever experienced in Seattle.  Our forecast for this afternoon is 101 degrees.  That’ll break the all-time record high, which is 100 degrees (set 15 years ago in July 1994).

Of course, it doesn’t help that few places in Seattle have air conditioning, which means that we’re forced to get creative to stay cool (read: “hanging out” at QFC).

I’d write more for this entry but each moment I’m typing at my computer is misery. Everywhere that my body is touching someplace else is uncomfortable. Also, the rest of my body is uncomfortable. Fuck.
