Be like the bluebird

I was kind of an ass in high school and I used to think it was really funny to throw made-up quotes around:

In the words of Beatrix Potter, ‘I hate you so much right now, it’s like, not even funny.’

It seemed really funny at the time, but less so now.  I guess that’s just what happens as time goes by – somehow I always used to be so lame, and thank goodness I’m so cool right now. Except for right now, I actually am really cool. Seriously.

The point is, a really witty or insightful quote would be a great way to start off a new blog, but it occurred to me that I don’t know any good quotes (that would be approrpriate, at least). So for now, a haiku from Threadless:

Haikus are easy

But sometimes they don’t make sense
